"Two men are in deep discussion over drinks, while a young woman behind the bar seems to be joining in, smiling at the conversation. Are the men friends and regulars customers of the woman?" From my Italian series.
The men and the bar scene were photographed in Venice, but the background is greatly simplified in the painting. The woman was from another bar scene photographed in Florence."
