"The coachman sleeps in the warm morning sun. His horse slowly munches on his feed. It is too early, in what will be a long day, for their tourist passenger customers to be out and about.
Meanwhile, a young boy pauses to gaze in wonder at the scene.
The painting is adapted from photographs taken in Florence, Italy. The young boy was my grandson from years ago."
