My Story - The bus had stopped. We were visiting a village near Patzcuaro, Mexico. I was hoping to paint nearby. I saw this man standing at the crude gate to his yard. He was wondering what was going on.
I was photographing the area and included him in one shot.
Upon examining the images later, I liked this man's face. As is common, the painting I developed is quite a bit different. His coloring and clothing have been changed. I never knew his real name.
